Membership
NJAVA offers a variety of membership levels to meet the various needs of the professionals, volunteers and organizations working in volunteer resource management.
Individual Member - this membership level applies to any person (volunteer or paid position) that wishes to join NJAVA. This membership belongs to the member, not the organization they represent. Each individual member has a single vote at the NJAVA Annual Meeting.
Student Member - this membership level applies to anyone who is currently enrolled as a full-time student, or is currently serving in a federally funded (stipend supported) service program. Each student member has a single vote at the NJAVA Annual Meeting
Organizational Member - this membership level applies to any organization that wishes to be active in the field of volunteer management in NJ. This membership is available to all non-profits, government agencies, business community, etc. This membership belongs to the organization, not the individual who represents them. Organizations may register up to three individuals under each membership. However, each organization has only a single vote at the NJAVA Annual Meeting and cannot have more than one representative on the Board of Directors at a time.
Vendor / Consultant Registry - this opportunity is provided to any service provider that wishes to have access to NJAVA membership and events. Providers who become members of the organization will receive a discount on vendor and sponsorship opportunities. Vendors and Consultants are not voting members of the body and cannot have a representative on the Board of Directors.
